HOW MUCH I LOVE PHILADELPHIA!
I've found so much to do since moving back here and im incredibly grateful and happy to be in the position i am in. I moved out of my parents house and am living with one of my best friends c y and my girlfriend. 》》 We all live united under one gay roof and often throw up in each others hair! #freespeech #throwupinyourhairlikewejustdontcare C y has this evil banana rum that she mixes with cream soda and it tastes like girlcum! Yummy!! ive also gotten into other bad habits like smoking menthols and fake weed. but not every day! and i don't even buy them i steal them from other people, which means they are free and cant count toward lung cancer.
what sucked initially though is whenever anybody wanted to go out to a bar or a nightclub or something and i couldnt join. being 20 in this city sucks when u have older friends dude. because if u are in ur early 20's and you want to go out and have fun, ur going to a bar/21+ adjacent thing. u want 2 meet and hangout with people ur own age, and so its hard to suggest to my older friends to go hangout somewhere that isn't crawling with highschoolers and/or somewhere we already go all the time. philly sucks for my age demographic. and you will not catch me at no pickleball court dont even play
but then i found a new hobby! beating people to death in a strangers basement
ive encountered the diy show scene only a few times before and only once in philly, but I wasnt expecting to find all these local band shows going on pretty much every single day. the whole city has this network of musicians and venues that people host in their own basements, most are all ages but even when they aren't if you're chill nobody minds. and if they do, you just call the cops on them! #ellenmode
so so so many bands are so so so good but just to name a few of my favorite ones ive seen, power doom smoke cult, whaleteeth, banshee, capital punishment, insecticide, mile zero, regulation 7, powerline trail, shark eat u and the DOJD are all incredible and if u come to see me in philly we WILL be going to see one of these mentioned. good friend dear friend benji came to see me and we went to a hardcore show and got trampled in a small room with the lights on.
so for the time being im enjoying being youthful and carefree going to these shows while I still can, because once you turn like 28 you're like way too old to be going to these like go home to your spouse and children dude
in other news i've tried picking up skating. mack tried to get me to do it for the longest time and i wish i tried learning back then because it sucks falling so much. but im having fun and making new friends at the skateparks. philly has so many of them and theyre frequently upkept so ive been taking advantage of thatttttt
oh one of the best parts about my job is that i have this big ass guarded parking lot right in the middle of center city that i get to use for free whenever I want. its also right next to the El so i can take the train to work when needed. very convenient for exploring on my days off in the city or when there is a show I want to see (3 different concert venues within 2 blocks!), especially because the pee pee penis authority is evil and would ticket a car at a stoplight if they could.

oh and i've been expanding my classic sam perry cold calling to instagram. but instead of calling people i know i'm following mutuals of people i know and acting like im best friends with them. in one instance recently i followed someone who has a decent number of mutuals with me, but i've never met in person. this act led me to finding out this individual has had car issues recently, so naturally i extended the offer to help. now this may backfire completely and i may create a citywide reputation of being a cheap mechanic instead of a cool guy on instagram.com, but none the less i've made a friend and that's what matters. ☺

i've been watching it with Hadyn and its pretty good. the episodes are a little long so we usually watch it at dinner together and only one episode at a time but we're cruising through it at a reasonable pace. i do a pretty good chrissy impression i think. tony is a little harder to impersonate but im getting it down. Many know me as D1 new jersey hater but dare i say these jersey trolls are growing on me! maybe ill take a trip over soon and see all the landmarks in the show.
hadyn also has been having me (forcing me) to listen to the Magnus Archives. It Aight. I listen to it at work sometimes when im doing nothing at my big awesome desk.
